you can disable the floppy controller in your system BIOS. To access BIOS, you will need to tap the del or F2 key on boot and from there you will be able to navigate the menu to disable the setting. If you are not familiar with BIOS, it may be an idea to check your motherboard manual....if you haven't got one, check out the manafacturers website as detailed instructions will be there.
Another way would be to disable the floppy controller in your Device Manager.
