Hi Chris,

According to Microsoft, IE7 will download but will not automatically install. You should get a box asking for your O.K. first. They also have a tool that is supposed to block it from being downloaded but I can't seem to find the URL for you. I'll post it as soon as I can find it again. I would suggest setting Automatic Updates to notify but don't download or install. You never know what surprises MS will send you.
