I have the above error come up whenever I try to install any version of windows from XP home, XP pro sp2, XP 64, Vista 32 or 64.
My system is an AMD 4200 on an ASUS M2A-VM HDMI with 1gb of Kingstonddr2 667 ram(single). On board graphics, sound, ethernet. USB microsoft wheel mouse, USB Z-Board Merc gaming keyboard. 400W PSU.
The computer was running great with win XP 64. I upgraded to vista because of IPX network incompatibility, only to find the same problem. I deleted and re created partition and installed XP Pro SP2, 32 bit. It was working great for a week, then I got blue screen with the above error. Now, I can't boot from startup floppy disk, Windows CD, or Hard drive, I get the same error message when I try to do anything with the computer.
I can't get into windows, not even safe mode, to find any logs.
I have replaced the ram with a brand new identical one.
Any help as to what needs replacing would be appreciated.
