Ok, when I installed my XP to my personal machione last time, I un-installed WMP9 right after the install was done.
But, now whenever I double-click on a WMV, AVI, MPG, etc... Windows Media Player asks me to install it.
How do I get rid of it for good?

Oh and before yiou ask: I don't want to use WMP9 (or 10) becasue I want to use K-Lite Media Pack instead.

Your problem should be as simple as making your media player the default program for running wmv, avi, and mpg files.
