I need a static ip for a program to keep from disconnecting all the time. When I changed my IP to stay as 192.168.1.30 as my IPv4, i cant connect to the internet. How do i use a static IP and get on the internet at the same time?:upset:

start by setting your pc back to "obtain a ip address automatically". Then post the results of a ipconfig /all here for review. Then we can advise you what ip to set as static and still have internet.
