I just installed Windows 7, which went fine. After the install however it keeps freezing right when the animation starts. I tried booting into safe mode & that also freezes but it managed to do it once & I got this when I tried to do the repair option.

After that failed repair attempt it successfully booted up & I performed Windows Update & used Advanced Systemcare Free. All seemed fine but now I'm having the same problem again. I'm at a loss. Help?

This may be a stupid question but can I put those on a flash drive instead of burning onto a disk? I ask because I don't own a cd burner...
Memtest has USB installer - see 5th one down - http://www.memtest.org/#downiso

I don't see an option for USB HDD test.
I performed the memtest & I got no errors. I could not for the life of me figure out how to perform an HDD diagnostic. I tried to use UltraBootCD through my usb drive but it wouldn't respond when up. I also tried to use UltraISO to write SeaTools on there but that wouldn't boot & neither would Western Digital's hdd diagnostic iso. I was thinking of trying to install Ubuntu to see if that works?
So I put Ubuntu on a usb flash drive & tried to load it. As soon as my computer booted from the usb it froze & wouldn't respond to any keyboard commands. I'm thinking since my computer freezes from booting from flash drive iso's (except memtest86) & from booting from the dvd drive it's not a hdd problem. I'm thinking the motherboard I have is defective. What do you think?
