So every now any them my computer will freeze but with a black screen and my monitor shows an "idle" mode. I restart then my monitor will act as if nothing is connected once windows is supposed to load. Then windows will freeze at the starting point. I do a restore, which i have to do twice, and this is what it gives me:

Please help, i have tried Safe Mode, same thing. I recently reinstalled Windows 7 (64 bit) and wiped the partition and made a new one and it's still happening. Is this a hardware problem? Are there any fixes? Thanks!

Hi mtstephen and welcome to TSF, What brobarpas is asking for is the make and model of your machine so we can check it out for example HP P6510y. If it's a home built unit then we need the motherboard, and Powersupply name/model/ and wattage.
Before i had windows 7 i had windows XP installed, and thanks mcorton, where would i find this, do i have to look at the guts of the computer?
If it's store bought computer the model should be on a sticker on the side, back or bottom. If a built you should be able to get most of the info form the control panel/system.
