Startup repair and ntoskrnl.exe

8180 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  joeten
I have windows 7 ultimate x64 and when i boot up the PC, startup repair comes up, however it cannot fix the problem with ntoskrnl.exe. When i restart it, it lets me choose between "startup repair" and "start windows normally" and if i chose the second one, its boots up just fine. Is there any way to get rid of this problem? It really annoys me as i have to wait like 2 times longer for the damn thing to load.

go to start- and type chkdsk /R and hit enter. The check disk utility will try and fix any errors
