check your motherboard?? see if there are updated drivers for it or a bios flash. Also are your updates current and divers for both video and sound...

Standby mode zaps audio/video drivers...
Whenever I take my machine out of standby mode, I have no sound and choppy video. Rebooting solves the problem. What's goin' on here?!
