i have just gotten a new dell xps 14 with 500gb hdd and a 32 gb ssd from my brother . It seems i can switch on intel smart response to enable write caching and to accelerate my computer.But It has been giving me problems, i want to know if it is worth it to fix the problem and enable intel smart response.

sorry, i cant change the mode to RAID in the bios. only to AHCI. And when i try to use AHCI when i try to reinstall my os, there are no hard drives to select. it says i need to load the drivers.

Did you update the Bios from the Dell Page Driver Details | Dell US
