I have a Windows 2000 Server running with about 40 users.

With increased frequency I have noticed the servers performace slowing down. Once I can finally open the taks manager I see that spoolsv controls >90% of the CPU. Even after a reboot spoolsv still controls the CPU. This makes any server work impossible.

Other than the server the network seems fine. No lag time, we can print just fine, etc. However, if I need to access anything on the server it is a big problem.

Is there anyway to "reset" the spoolsv.exe or is there an updated windows driver/patch?
