This is quite a technical question. Hoping someone is knowledgeable and can answer it for me. My motherboard will not seem to boot up, no video at all. In the technical specification manual under the section listing errata it states that a memory module sporting an unprogrammed or incorrectly programmed SPD EEPROM may cause the BIOS to hang. Right now I don't have any other compatible memory with this board to test. My question is simple. If a memory module is faulty, or is the SPD EEPROM has the latter problem, would you get anything onscreen when powering on the system, or would the screen just stay blank?
