hi, i accidentally deleted my SoundMAX program which controls my sound. i have not had any sound in ages i am hoping you can help. my pc is an Asus.

PS: if you no away i can find out more details about my computer plzzz help.

Hi,

Perform a system restore to a day or two before you deleted the program, and it should come back.
Start > Run... > Type:

%SystemRoot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

Copy and paste the above line in the run box, and then follow the prompts.

yes tried that m8 weirdly enough all the other programs i deleted are there apart from SoundMAX

Try simply reinstalling the driver from the motherboard drivers CD, or restore CD disk set. You can also try browsing to the Installshield folder in program files and look in the folders and click on setup/ini files until you find the one that corresponds to "soundmax" then use the setup.exe in that folder.

i have not got any cd's
