:rolleyes: im a very eager user i have a ac 97 soundcard that came with my e machince 667 intel celeron..... it plays alright but i would like to know is there an upgrade to a better sound through the net or am i missing out on a new world ive tried the wave mapper also that came with nero an winamp but is there something else out there im also using altec pc speakers with a sub woofer any advice thank you ?

Im not sure exactly what you looking for here... but why dont you upgrade the soundcard to something better from Creative, like a SoundBlaster Live or Audigy. Turtle beach makes a nice card too.

DJ is on the Money....

Creative labs leads the market in sound cards...

If you can find it go with SoundBlaster live...awsome card...but if it is priced close to $99 spend the money on the newer Audiolgy...havent played with the newer card (no reason to how much can sound be improved on) but good Luck...

is the Emachines sound onboard...and if so do you have a PCI slot open for the new card...:bandit:
