You should be able to install using the original CD or you can get the updated drivers from the Creative website.

Ensure all of the Windows updates are installed (ie: SP3 will all updates), then uninstall the card in Device Manager, reboot, and install the drivers.

The drivers should all be available, for old hardware you have to look in the Legacy section. The last I checked ALL of the drivers were available going back to models way before the Live cards. The extra software and tools that are included on the driver discs are not. The only place to get the Creative software is the CD.

Maybe there is a misunderstanding. I have the disc I have the updated driver pack. I have installed all the above in every conceivable fashion it shows in device manager but when I try to install drivers and it says no SB card is installed on your system. I know the card is good it worked fine BEFORE I did the windows clean install. So I need to figure out why it says its not there.

Uninstall all Creative software and drivers using Add and Remove programs, then uninstall the card in Device Manager. Power off and physically remove the card. Boot back into Windows and verify there are no Creative entries in Add and Remove programs. Then power back off, reinstall the card, and boot into Windows. You should see the "Found New Hardware wizard" as Windows boots. Windows may find drivers on it's own. But you can cancel the auto install and manually install the latest drivers from Creative (the CD likely does not have the latest version).
