My computer is only playing sound out of the left speaker. I have also pluged headphones and diffrent speakers to it and it only plays out the right one and I have use the speakers that came with it, no use. My dad says that the Right Channel is gone or messed up. Do I need to buy a new Sound Card. I mean it's not a big problem but on some songs/games/movies sound comes out of a sertain speaker at diffrent times if you know what I mean.

Thanks for the help!

It seems your dad is right. Try swapping cables around with newer ones or ones that are known to be good to check. If suddenly its become erroneous, the right speaker is most likely faulty. That doesn't require a sound card, no. But speakers, yes.
Did you change anything with their setup recently?
Have you checked all cabling to see its slotted right?

If you have a speaker icon on the bottom bar of your desktop, double click on it and make sure the balance control is in the middle of the setting.

Are you using a PCI sound card, or an audio chip on your mainboard?

If you have a sound card in a PCI slot and it's gone faulty, you should be able to remove it and re-enable your on-board audio chip. The quality may not be as good, but it will give you stereo sound until you get another card.

Try turning the jack-plug that goes into the back of your computer a few times to ensure it's making a clean connection, and wiggle it to see if that makes any difference.

Have you checked in Control Panel>Sound and Audio Devices>Volume.
At the bottom of this check in Speaker Volume and make sure both controls are up.
Also check the Advanced button at the bottom click on the arrow and make sure it is not on some obscure setting that your sound card doesn't support.

Then check the Audio button second one after volume. Make sure the settings are to your sound card.
This is also where you can revert to the onboard audio of your motherboard. This is assuming you have an attached sound card.
If you have onboard sound, this will help determine whether it is the sound card or something else.

Also reinstall your audio drivers just to make sure everything is in order.
