Yea when i use sound recorder and playback what i have recorded i always get a lot of background noise...is there a way to fix this? or any other programs that i can use to record that are better then this? thanks ahead of time..have a greatttttt dayyyyyy

Audacity is a free Audio recorder and editing software. A good quality mic will give a better performance as well.

I did a very quick search on google and found this site

I typed the terms 'reducing background noise sound recording' into google.

if you are using laptop, and its own mic then you
might end up getting laptop fan noise
and cpu noise. Its always advisable to use headset
with mic but make sure a ceiling fan is not running
while you record. Yes, Audacity is one good software you
can try out.
