I´m trying to play a game but it appears a window with "directsound! 8 error". I though it was the game but it is every app. What do I have to do?

Try DirectX 9 and update your sound drivers

I already installed DX 9 but nothing changed. How do I cahnge the sound drivers?

go to Device Manager and uninstall...reboot and let found new hardware wizard install it or click out of the wizard and install download/cd driver via directions in the readme.txt file. If this is a recent problem then SYstem Restore should fix it.

The problem is that there is no driver installed, and he doesn´t reconize it. Maybe I´ll have to download new drives, but i don´t know wich on they are...
