This isn't really a big issue with me, because by induction, I usually resolved my issue by restarting my laptop and the sound for my laptop is always restored to its full functioning capacity. But it has happened more than one time and it gets pretty annoying restarting my computer over again. What do you suggest I do that will permanently resolved this problem besides restarting my computer all the time everytime this problem comes up?

Could be any number of causes, hardware or software. Most common cause, is the application or combination of applications in use at the time are having a conflict or otherwise affecting the audio drivers. It could also simply be a failing audio chipset.

You will need to take note of what you are doing when the problem occurs and then see if you can consistently reproduce the problem.

You may also want to ensure all of your drivers are up to date.
