When I shut the PC down, for some reason the sound driver/s uninstall....Now Im not sure why can anyone help?



Note: It don't do it all the time, but like it's done it a few times...

Go to the soundcard manufacturers website and download the latest driver for your device. save it to the desktop.

Download regscrub from here:

Install and run the program. Restart your computer. After your computer is on, ignore all the prompts to install sound drivers, and look in the Device Manager.
start, control panel, device driver. Do you see any yellow circles? If so Right-click on that yellow circle line and remove only that one line, and restart your system.

If windows will not automatically reinstall the driver itself try pointing the installer toward the file that you saved on the desktop.
