My first post on these forums so I appoligize if Ive put it in the wrong place .

I am currently struggling to fix my girlfriends computer.
She has JAP Windows XP installed on C drive, but it was filled with viruses.
I reformatted the D: drive and installed a new copy of japanese windows without getting rid of the old one. I've gotten everything to work except the sound. I don't have the laptop CD and I cant find drivers that work on the internet.
My question is: Is there anyway to copy drivers from one image of windows to another?
and secondly: If I can't copy the drivers does anyone know where I can find drivers for a Sharp PC-AL50G notebook. The old drivers were called Realtek AC'97 Audio for VIA, but I've already installed something by that name and still no sound.
