im trying to talk using my mic i brought but no sound comes out of my mic. i can hear sound coming out of it but no sound comes if i talk.

For a test, in Skype audio settings, untick 'Automatically adjust microphone settings', save, and retry a call to echo123

also, when on audio settings screen, you should see audio on the volume scale when you speak into mic and you should be able to adjust mic sensitivity manually

HI,

Are you plugged into the output jack by mistake? Mic is pretty much the same as a speaker. Only way to hear sound from it is to be plugged into the wrong jack.
