Simple question here. I have a Sony Vaio PCV RX and I planned to put a Rosewill GeForce 6600 in it. However, I keep getting told that some Sony's aren't upgradable or the card may not be compatable. Anyone happen to know anything about it or should I be good to upgrade?

All computers are somewhat upgradable. I do believe that this model Sony has an AGP port, but you might want to open your case and find out for sure. If it does just make sure that your videocard is AGP and not Pci-E.

PS - Invest in the 6600GT, its just a little bit more money and is a lot more powerful than the standard 6600.
