Open Task Manager and click "Processes" tab.
If you can see the Sonic Activation item, highlight it & click "End process".
Now try to uninstall Roxio.

If that doesn't work, download Ccleaner from here & install: Download CCleaner 3.07.1457 - FileHippo.com

Open Ccleaner, click "Tools" then "Startup"
Highlight the Sonic Activation item then click "Disable"
Now Restart Windows.
The Sonic Activation will not start so you should be able to uninstall Roxio.
