My computer's wireless switch is turned to on, but the green light indicating it is working is not, and the computer says it cannot detect any networks. When I reboot, the wireless light goes on as the computer is loading up, and I can even see my network detected. Then, when it finishes loading, the wireless is gone again. This happened suddenly. Any ideas why or what I can do about it?
I am not sure what brand of computer you have; but check the Power Saving application with your Laptop manufacturers name on it to see whether Wireless Networking (also sometimes called WLAN) is enabled on the current Power Plan.
