Everytime I launch IE 7, I get a popup. The page that pops up is one of those "web page not found" pages. When I log into www.myspace.com, a few more pop ups appear. When I click a link to see all of my friends, alot of these pages pop up! I usually have to shut down my computer and reboot because the pop ups are making my computer crash. I ran Mcafee Virus Center from Aol, and it asked me if I wanted to block this path:
C:\Documents and Settings\cd\Local Settings\Temp\TFR3B.tmp. I blocked a previous TFR2B file, then a message alert for TFR3B appeared. I used the atf cleaner to delete temp files, and it seems like this file is replicating. This is one of the problems which is causing my system to be hijacked. I installed ad-aware (the most current freeware version), ran it, and it found malware called Virtumonde. I quarantined it, but when I launch IE 7 now, I still get a pop up. When I log into www.myspace.com and view friends, I get a few pop ups, but not as bad as before. I ran HijackThis on my computer and here is the log:
