Hey there
[Wrote this in here since the comp is basicly ASUS based)
I just recieved all the components to my new PC and begun building yesterday along with my bro.
We used a couple hours (or more  ) to complete the assembly. When we tried to start it up the following occoured:
All fans etc worked as planned. No beeps (like those error ones). No disturbing sounds (take in consideration that there's 8 fans in there).
Now, on the monitor it said "No connection" - like the cable was wrong.
We tried to troubleshoot on a minor scale by testing out my old CRT monitor. That acted like it was on stand-by (orange light).
Some suggestions?
The specs:
Thermaltake Armor silver
ASUS P5LD2 Deluxe m.board
ASUS Extreme N7800 GTX
Hiper PSU 580W 12V SLi Ready
Pentium 4 3,6 HT
Bitspower CPU fan
Crucial 2048 PC5300 RAM
Samsung SynchMaster 172x 8ms monitor
My bro suspected the PSU as the bad guy.. Like some components doesn't get enough power (should be enough though). This PSU have custom out-takes. to minimize the amount of cables inside the chassis.
When turned on, the DVD drive wouldn't open... like it's out of power.
Any idea?
Thanks
