Some keys on my laptop randomly stop working

For the past few months a few keys upon startup don't work when I initially boot my laptop. It's always the same few keys and after I leave my finger on one of the "damaged" keys, it eventually starts to work again, along with the other few keys that don't work along with it.

What's the issue here and how can I fix it? It doesn't seem to be a physical problem because all the keys start working at the same time after a while.
