[SOLVED] wireless internet

My brother recently bought a laptop with vista on it and we can not get it to connect wirelessly. If i plug it in it does work though.
When connecting it says that its connected but will not load any pages.
My xp laptop i'm using works just fine on the wireless so i do not think its the modem. please help

i just ran ipconfig and my default gateway is blank if that helps
