I walked in to the room and my 1 year old daughter was carrying my laptop. I turned it on and now I no longer have the option to connect to wireless networks. It's like the computer doesn't recognize a wireless card. I have an old dell with windows xp. At first thought I figured that she may had dropped it and dislodged the card, so I took the cover of the slot off and everything seems to be in place. The wireless card is a broadcom. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Brian

Re: windows xp stopped recognizing my wireless card.

Solved: for anybody that is having the same problem. Take your card and out and put it back in. As I had originally assumed, the card had been dislodged and it's working again. This is the link that I followed.
