I have done four hours of research on how to fix this problem, but have yet to find a resolution... Also ,thanks in advance to whoever can help guide me into solving this.

I go to Windows Update (http://www.update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us)
So, I click the button to install

And everything seems to go okay... 2 screens flash by, stating:
Downloading: 100%
Installing: 100%
And then, after those, I get a page stating: The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem.

And this is where I am stuck.
I do not have any Antivirus or firewalls. I don't have Spybot. I have the Automatic Updates and BITS services enabled. If there is anything more that you want to know, then feel free to ask.

Note: attached is my WindowsUpdate.log file. Hopefully this will help...

Again, thanks in advance.

Re: Windows Update error number 0x800A138F

I used to have a printer (Lexmark x1250, I think...) but it was a piece of crap so I uninstalled it and threw it away. But, currently, I have no printer.

Your WindowsUpdate log shows the following error code 0x80070020. Do you have Spybot's TeaTimer enabled? If yes, perhaps try disabling it...if that doesn't fix it. Try temporarily disabling any realtime anti-virus programs to see if that helps.

As I previously stated, I have no AV programs (although I had NOD32 for a while...) And I also had Spybot, but that is uninstalled also...

Re: Windows Update error number 0x800A138F

Hmmm sorry about that....should've paid attention.

Possibly an idea to re-register the Windows Update dll files. To do that, please follow these steps:

- Click Start -> Run -> type:
regsvr32 wuapi.dll
- Click OK
- This should make a box pop up telling you it was successful, just need to click ok.

Repeat that with the following files (remember to prefix each with regsvr32 ):
wuaueng.dll
wuaueng1.dll
wucltui.dll
wups.dll
wups2.dll
wuweb.dll

Once you have done that, try running Windows Update again please.

Let us know the outcome please.
