Bought a new com done setup put a disc in thought it was Microsoft works however it was windows 7 and deleted the other version on there and put the new one on now it says Windows not detecting any networking hardwear. And I have all the yellow ! On network adapters.

Please help

Yes it has ativated and the pc is a hp pavilion g7 g7-1204sa. I download the network card drivers onto another com put them on flashcard and put them on but they would not down load it kept saying verify that you have permission just as it was about to instal

No anti virus on com not sure about real time and the disc is windows 7 64 bit. I tried to restore but it will only go back to after I put this disc on.

Windows 7 Home premuim? . . Profesional? Ultimate? Starter?

Is the current user account an administrator account?

Are you sure you downloaded the right driver? I must be 64bit

I'm not sure it is a copy of windows I got off a friend. How do I find out which windows it is? And no I'm not using administrator I'm using my own account.

It should say on the disc . . Did you install the chipset driver first? As long as your account isnot a limited one, you should be able to install drivers

Should I reinstall the disc? It just says windows 7 64 bit on the disc. And no I'm not limited I'm not sure if I installed that first. I'm in trouble ain't I?!?

Do you have the discs that came with the pc? When you installed. did you use the product key on the sticker on the bottom of the laptop?

No discs came with with the pc I turned it on and it went straight to setup and it did not ask for a product key at point.

Was that an original installation disc or a copy? Are you trying to install wireless or wired drivers? Have you tried installing any other drivers?

Not the same sticker no but I do have a sticker. I did not have a origanal disc the com did not come with a disc. And when I put the copy disc in it did not ask me for a product key either. I want wireless drivers but I want both.
