Re: Windows 7 sound card drivers

Hi
According to your dxDiag.txt log you have a HP Pavilion Media Center a1430n Desktop PC
Please Confirm!

It also states
Sound Tab 1: No sound card was found. If one is expected, you should install a sound driver provided by the hardware manufacturer.
This computer has a Realtek HD Audio (If you are using the Audio card that came with it)
http://www.realtek.com.tw/DOWNLOADS...=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false
But I need to know what other errors you may have in the Device Manager BEFORE you install the Audio Driver

Please post All errors (yellow !)

Thanks,
Bill

Re: Windows 7 sound card drivers

well the errors i was getting is from the mw2(modern warfare 2) installation saying
Code:
Error during initialization:
Miles sound system initialization failed.
Make sure you have your sound card's latest drivers and DirectX installed.
i have DirectX 11 so that isn't the problem.
