[SOLVED] What Program can Control Running-Services & Kill Tasks in Windows XP?

Would any of you tell me what program you would use to take full-control over the services/programs you have running on Windows XP? There are complicated programs & services, which cause amatuer-administrators on Windows XP to get "Access Denied messages"whenever they try to disable services like RPC by using MSConfig.exe or Task Manager. Even when using the Component Services program (Dcomcnfg.exe), there are certain services, which do not allow you to stop, disable, or remove them from your Startup & Services-list.

I've already tried Autoruns, WinPatrol, and Task manager to kill programs & services, which continue to run without my permission. Online Amor is 1 of many programs like RPC, which does not allow end-users to disable or stop them from automatically, running.

So if any of you have any time, please name the program(s) you would use to have full-control of your Windows XP system so you can disable, unlock, and get rid of programs, files, & services, which become difficult to remove even if you have "admin privileges".

Re: What Program can Control Running-Services & Kill Tasks in Windows XP?

Thanks for helping me & others, again. Would you please tell me what program you would use to really control your running services? I'm thinking of a program like Process Lasso & WinPatrol. They don't seem to be able to terminate programs which give admins "access denied" messages when they try to terminate them or disable them.

I need full control over locked & unlocked services & programs on Windows XP. Is there a program that can terminate or disable services, like the ones I mentioned in my original post?

Re: What Program can Control Running-Services & Kill Tasks in Windows XP?

Thank you. I understand what you mean. I was looking for an alternative to Task Manager since it doesn't show hidden services & terminate them on command. I appreciate your help, as usual. Thanks again.
