I have tried running "dxdiag" and looking under the display tab and it says "
Name:
Manufacturer: n/a
Chip type: n/a
DAC type: n/a
Approx. total memory: n/a
Current display model: 1024x768 (32 bit)(1Hz)
Monitor:"
I have already tried to install drivers but i am not completely sure if i have downloaded the right ones. I have the hp compaq evo d510 converitable minitower. I have downloaded all the video drivers on the hp site for that model but none seem to work.
Without the video card it causes problems such as: lagging while trying to scroll up and down a page, lags when i restore down a page it lags, also i can't put the computer on stand by.

Re: Video card not detected

Can you explain how to do that. Also, i forgot to mention that this all happened after i reformatted the computer. I reformatted it before and everything was working fine. But when i reformatted it again is when i started having problems.

Re: Video card not detected

It appears that the drivers are not installed?

Post the errors that you have in Device Manager.

Install the Chipset driver first if not already done.
