intel(9) Ich9 Family Universal host not working properly error 32..

Dell Inspiron 1545 I have had 13 months.Just ou of warranty

Service Tag: D9QF2K1


I have a desktop that is suffering from the black screen of death. I downloaded this boot cd version 12 and when I tried to burn it to a cd my drive would not reconize a cd in the drive. Updated all the drivers and still no luck gave up for now.Attempted to access portable hard drive got this error.

On the 1545 Usb controller not working and cd drive not seeing cds. Hoping they are somehow related. Ran Malware got about 25 infections cleaned out no problem. Not sure what the issue is. Any help would be a blessing I am currently lost and hopeless and outta work 15 days.

Help Please.

Are you able to boot from your CD drive? Also, are you using Windows 7 by any chance? I ask this because I had the same problem but couldn't find a solution. So I had to format the whole disk and install Windows all over again.

I corrected the usb problem. It was a virus malware bytes missed.I got it with super anti spyware.I think I will have to reinstall xp on the desktop.
