[SOLVED] Urgent, Need help with Acer Aspire 5920

3902 Views 13 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  dai
okay, this is how it is, I'm trying to fix an acer aspire 5920 here, but I'm having difficulties with that.

1: after a while, the screen goes mad, the whole screen consists of squares, and dots. of what once was the desktop background. (happens only in windows) and the computer freezes.

2: I was able to fetch the bluescreen error, so can do have a clue what the problem could be ?
so could anyone be so kind, and help me out here?

Running a memory diagnostics test as well.

Dont worry about warranty with RAM. also, try linux  (get a LiveCD of ubuntu http://www.ubuntu.com/ ) of it works OK, its a problem with the HD or drivers. :sigh:

EDIT: boot from the CD, forgot that detail :rolleyes:
Re: Urgent, Need help with Acer Aspire 5920
