I have a trendnet TEW 432BRP wireless router connected via a Huawei MT882 ADSL modem. It was working okay (except for few random disconnections from time to time) until recently when I reset it to Factory Defaults.

Since that time I am having trouble connecting and configuring it. When I try to configure with the Easy Go cd installation it give an error: 109. I don't know why?? :4-dontkno

Later when I try to configure via Web Configuration, I am not able to log in to web configuration!! It was working for a while but then it just won't load, no matter what.

Confession: I might be guilty of updating the firmware over wireless connection. :uhoh: :dead:

Please, please, please let me know if I have screwed up the router of do I still have some hope... :xolconfus

Re: Trendnet TEW 432BRP - Web Configuration

Hello sumeetk and welcome to TSF!

Let's try this:
Power cycling your Modem and Router might resolve the problem.
1. Save all your current work, close all open applications, then shut down your computer. Wait for a minute.
2. First, turn your Router off and wait for a couple of minutes.
3. Turn off your modem.
4. Disconnect all the ethernet cables that are connected to the router and modem and the PC.
5. Reconnect them and ensure that there are no loose connections in between them.
6. Now, switch on your PC and let it boot.
7. Switch on the modem first and after it gets initialized, switch on the router.

Please let me know. RD

Hmm seems you have to re program your router mate. Does the internet Light flash on the router? If so, you only need to fix the connection between you router and you're Pc. I havn't used that wireless router so i'm not sure about it's features etc, But if you know enough about networking you should be able to connect to the browser configuration utility and get it up and running again.

Re: Trendnet TEW 432BRP - Web Configuration

Thanks RD for your help.. I tried all that.. and after that I did manage to login to the web configuration.. so that routine worked!

Only problem was once I did the settings.. there was an IP conflict somehow.. and then again I would have trouble logging into the settings. (and that answers sc1pio's quote.. I don't know much about networking.. its mostly trial and error that I do.. being said that I had setup my wi-fi router on my own like that)

anyways.. so one of my friend jumped in to help.. n told me exactly what I was doing wrong and corrected it at my place.. and thus I am unwired again! :D
