My IE8 is sucking up alot of memory lately ranging from 225 to 385 MB. My AVG is triggered giving me this message. This happens whenever I am surfing websites. How can I reduce this issue and what steps should I take in future to eliminate this?

All or any help would be appreciated at this moment in time.

Reduce the amount of addons you have and toolbars that you don't use would be a good starting point Minimize it as much as possible that way.
