Is this Processor good enough for gaming? It will be on my new Vista.

Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q6600 (8MB L2 cache,2.4GHz,1066FSB)

Some friends say that the Quad Core is better for Vista, but I do not know since I barely know PCs.

I'd say the Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q6600, could handle anything you throw at it.

That is a fine processor, but if it were me, I would be considering the e8400 processor, because many applications aren't set up to use the capabilities of the quad core at this time.

Im using that one and its perfect for playing games on full spec, the only limit is your GFX card

Never let me down yet and i find it (with vista) to be really efficient at performing high CPU tasks like large RAR files or Video Editing (plus playing COD, CRYSIS and GRID)
