Each time I boot my computer, I receive the follow message in the Event Viewer System Log File:

The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
KmxAMRT

Here is the information that I see when I sent it to the Microsoft Support and Help Center

Product:Windows Operating SystemID:7026Source:Service Control ManagerVersion:5.2Symbolic Name:EVENT_BOOT_SYSTEM_DRIVERS_FAILEDMessage:The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load: %1

What I believe is happening is that all though I uninsulated CA's Anti virus package and installed Microsoft's Security Essentials, not all the CA software was removed.

Help in getting rid of this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Larry

Hi

See this document:
Uninstall failed

Select the correct CA product you had, download the Removal script and run.
Hopefully this will remove the CA Suite from your PC.

Thank you for the link to CA and the uninstallers.. I am happy to say that it worked. Again thank you for the help.
