Ok, so sparkle has a 2gb vram single gpu (so i have access to full 2gb vram) on a GTX285 model.

that is the 2gb model. It doesn't expressly say single gpu. Either way, if i get that card, does that mean I only get the processing power of one GPU? Because regular 285's are dual (as far as I know, but i have never used nvidia personally) so would have 2 processing cores (ex if 2 cores were 500mhz, they would be sli'd directly and produce 1000mhz).

So...basically i am just wondering if that card would give me 2gb ram for a single gpu output, but two processing cores.

If not would you suggest i sli that card with:

Re: Sparkle GTX285 Question

Whoaaaaa....it totally responded to this but it didn't come up O_______O

Well...erm...just sum it up the i guess.

This is something i am thinking about if i manage to work out the money [however i wouldn't specifically buy THESE models...this is just for future curiosity] it would be a nice upgrade to a full 2gb. However, i will stick 4870 for now because only one game i know of takes a full 2gb.

Thanks for your help though
