Hey, I am having a strange problem. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be great.

At random times its almost as if someone is holding a directional button on my keyboard. When I open a browser the page automatically scrolls to the bottom of the page. When I click an icon on my desktop it jumps all over the place to other icons. This problem is solved with a few reboots only to return at complete random.

At first I thought it was my usb keyboard (g15 gen2) so I changed that out for a ps2 keyboard. Still the same problem.

I tried reinstalling windows out of desperation. Even during the initial windows installation where you enter your time zone, etc. I get the problem of scrolling through the timezones like someone was holding the
down directional. (after format)

I made sure it was not sticky keys
I flashed the BIOS and tried the default settings.
I don't have a joystick

Like I said, any advice would be great. Thanks

Re: Spaming directional buttons? I have no idea.

No I have not. I will try that when I get home this evening and let you know.

Thanks

Ugh, I can't believe I missed that one. I have not had the problem since I changed my mouse. Its looking like that was it. I'll update if I run into the problem again.

Thanks
