Re: sonic activation module

Hi and welcome to TSF

If you don't have it and don't want it, please to goto your start button click on control panel> add/remove programs and remove the sonic program.

Re: sonic activation module

I have the sonic activation module message at startup myself and I have tried to go into control panel and remove it but it tells me in order to remove I must insert disk and I don't have one.

Re: sonic activation module

Try removing in the safe mode. Reboot the PC and tap F8 during start up. Now try to remove it.

Keep use posted.

Re: sonic activation module

After some amount of research I learned that a program named Roxio was the most likely source of the problems I was having with the Sonic Activation Module appearing on screen at start up. I recalled a disc I received when I purchased the computor. I located it, ran it and the problem has disappeared. Two or three other small problems I was having also disappeared. Disc name Roxio Creator plus, installer. Information may help someone else. Live Strong.
