Wow, that was scary. Just spilled a water bottle onto the inside of my computer. Smoke came from the back of it, the monitor turned off and it smells very bad. I took the cover off to discover that the damage is minimal, my TV tuner card's PCI plug is black at the front and the PCI port that it was in is black also. I have cleaned it all out and dried it all out. Is it safe to turn back on? Thanks in advance

personally I would wait a couple of days before turning it on. leave the cover off and just forget about it till then.
