I use to be able to see videos on youtube before on Opera and Firefox.

Now I am unable to see videos on my using Flash player on Opera and Firefox when I click
on youtube links. Only a player with black screen appears and sound comes up.



I updated with the latest Flash Player version 10.3 beta.


It still not owrk, but I.E, 8 is working .


What is the problem ?

I've seen a lot of people reporting this same thing. I've never seen it myself but I started looking into it when a friend of mine was having the issue.

Not sure if they ever figured out how to fix it but YouTube still works in one browser for them. Here's the discussion forum:

I updated lastest flash player and java.

Still the same thing.

Usually there is an animated circle rotating in the middle just before the video plays
on youtube. Now when I click on youtube link just a black screen and sound.

Would doing a system restore to yesterday work ?

The youtube videos I put in Mixpod on a playlist works, yet playing youtube videos on
youtube webpage doesn't work. It is strange.

I uninstalled adobe flash player.

I dunno if it uninstalled both versions i.e. and non i.e. versions ?

Now it works.


It is funny cause I thought to play youtube you need adobe flash player in order for
youtube videos to work.

But maybe because I have 2 adobe flash players. I.E. version and non ie version
both installed it was causing the problem with updates cauing the problem ?
