[SOLVED] Samsung S2 Portable

2760 Views 3 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  spunk.funk
I have just upgraded to a new desktop running Windows 7 from an eight year old desktop running Windows XP. Both file systems use NTFS. I have backed-up data for the last year or so on a Samsung S2 Portable. However Samsung Drive Manager closes when I try to restore a backup (performed on the old computer) to the new computer with a message 'Samsung Drive Manager has stopped working'. I can copy files from the S2 that were not backed up. A diagnostic test of the S2 shows that the drive is working as it should. I have re-tested the S2 on the old computer and it works perfectly. What do I need to do to get the S2 to work on with the new computer? Help please.

Re: Samsung S2 Portable

Download Samsung Drive Manager software and install it. Start Backup from this program and choose Restore.
