hi
i am using nVidia geforce 7300GS and using a 17" lcd, which has native resolution of 1440*900.i want to increase its resolution beyond this too,i read on articles and on Google that it is possible.
increase LCD screen resolution in Windows 7 beyond its native resolution - Super User

i know when the correct video card driver is not installed,it gives you option to go beyond this too.i mean when you fresh install OS or when you uninstall drivers for VGA,but my question is,is it possible in else way because removing the driver makes it hard to read on screen,it becomes blurred.

Re: Resolutuion beyond Native? .........

Go to screen resolution/advanced settings/monitor tab , and check the box that says "hide modes this monitors cannot display".

The problem you're going to have however , is a higher resolution will make the text very hard to read , or the screen will not display it. Or if the screen DOES use the higher res , it will "scroll" with your mouse and not display the entire screen.

Why do you want the monitor beyond it native res? All that'll happen is it will be much harder to read everything.
