Ok I have 6 TB drives. I was given a drive by a mate with music on it but it also has a partition of 100mb that is empty. What I want to do is remove the partition completely. Can I do it without removing the data from the drive.

Also it shows in Computer Management both partition's as H drive, but Dynamic not Basic like my other drives.

Can someone help me return it back to one Drive no partitions and return it back to basic please

You cannot convert from dynamic to basic, you can delete the 100MB partition but it will just be 100 MB of unused space. XP you can use third party software to add it to the other partition, but is it worth it for 100MB? Vista and Win7 can do it from disk management

So am I kind of stuck with removing the info and re-formatting oh well...

Ok I managed to get the drive to use all of it capacity and it no longer shows up in My Computer... Thanks for your help...ray:
