I've just recently updated Windows XP & have encountered a rather annoying problem.
I had my PC setup so that it'd completely skip the Welcome/Login screen & go straight to the desktop when I turned the PC on. It now has reverted back to going to the login screen whenever I turn the PC on. To get around this I went to "RUN" & typed "control userpasswords2". I then unticked the box next to "Users must enter a username and password to use this computer".
Now whenever I turn the PC on I get a box with a message that says "Unable to Log You on Because of an Account Restriction".
All I want is to be able to turn my PC on & have it go all the way to the Desktop without having to go to the Welcome/Login screen first & without having to enter any kind of passwords whatsoever.
I'd appreciate any help I can get regarding this, thanks in advance.
